As part of the celebration of the Lviv Polytechnic Day, the Promotion Center will present a banner exhibition dedicated to the important dates of the formation of our university.
― This banner exhibition is dedicated to important dates in the history of Lviv Polytechnic. First of all, the founding of a Real School which laid the foundations for Lviv Polytechnic. It happened on March 7, 1816, – explained Andrii Pavlyshyn, Head of the Lviv Polytechnic Promotion Center. ― The other purpose of the exhibition is to recall the 150th anniversary of the introduction of the rector’s position at our University. The rector of Lviv Polytechnic was elected for the first time in 1872. It was Felix Strzelecki.
The exhibition aims to popularize the history of Lviv Polytechnic, thus it is organized for a wide audience. After that, it will be exhibited in the Museum of Lviv Polytechnic
