Students from 25 architecture and construction higher education institutions of Ukraine took part in the second round of the competition «Architect 2019», which was held on December 20. The competition, organized by Borys Kolesnikov charitable foundation, aims to support students of technical specialties, help talented young people to show themselves, gain valuable experience and interest employers or potential investors.
327 students of architectural and construction specialties, including those from Lviv Polytechnic National University competed in the second round. The contestants fulfilled the creative task from the expert council: in the motivation essay they described their plans and aspirations, as well as approaches to the solution of architectural or construction tasks. The participants showed their creative thinking and professional knowledge to prove they deserve to win and go to Milan.
After summing up the results of the second round, the expert council will announce the names of the Architect project finalists. In the final they will present their own ideas for creating a city park. The authors of the thirty most interesting decisions will receive diplomas and a trip to Milan.
