The project has been running for three years, and it has already become popular among senior school students, students of professional colleges, vocational lyceums, and the University, as more and more people are joining it to gain knowledge that will be useful in the future.
The participants were greeted by Oleh Matviikiv, First Vice-Rector of the University, Nataliia Pipa, Member of Parliament who works in the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Education, Science and Innovation, Roman Khimiak, Head of the Department of Physical Culture and Sports of LRMA, Halyna Pyryn, Deputy Head of Education, Olha Dolia, Educational Partnership Associate Director at SoftServe, and Nataliia Ozhanska, Program Coordinator in Credit Agricole Ukraine’s IT&Premium division. The event was moderated by Iryna Andrushkiv, Program Manager, Associate Professor at the Department of Project Management, the Institute of Public Administration, Governance and Professional Development, and the Department of Management of Organizations, the Institute of Economics and Management, Lviv Polytechnic.
The participants of the meeting got acquainted with the peculiarities of the program, which covers four modules: motivation and leadership; financial decisions; admission to MBA; and business communications. The program manager and public speaking coach Yana Shevchuk delivered a speech about this.
«Here you will get what you may need: not only applied knowledge, but also competencies; do not miss your opportunities; combine practice with theory and, last but not least, have an environment that will shape you». These were the most eloquent phrases that were said at the presentation of the fall semester program.
The program is being implemented within the Smart space innovation space, where young people have access to high-quality educational and cultural services that meet European standards. It helps to unleash the creative potential of its participants, develop business skills and creative thinking, and provides an opportunity to realize their ideas, start their own business and benefit from mentoring support.
The project is part of the Lviv is European Youth Capital 2025 program, the MoloDvizhCenter and UNICEF, with the support of Lviv Polytechnic, such IT companies as Sigma Software University Global, ELEKS University and SoftServe Lviv HQ, Credit Agricole Bank, Lviv House of Technology, Youth and Sports Department of LRMA, Lviv Education Department, Youth Policy Department, Education and Youth Policy Department of Lviv City Council, and the Department of Management of Organizations at Lviv Polytechnic.
– Our project was piloted in the Lviv region, but this year we have the opportunity to implement it in other regions of Ukraine and share our experience there. And we have ambitions to reach the international level as well, says Iryna Andrushkiv.
