On May 22, 2018, the Ivan Vyhovsky awards giving ceremony took place in Warsaw. Among the laureates there are director of the Institute of Humanities and Social Sciences of Lviv Polytechnic, Professor of the Department of Political Science and International Relations Yaryna Turchyn and Deputy Director of IHSS, Associate Professor of the PSIR Department, Lesia Dorosh.
The Ivan Vyhovsky Award was founded in 2014 by the Center for East European Studies in Warsaw University and the influential foundation Collegium of Eastern Europe that is also supported and funded by 21 Polish universities. The award recognizes the achievements of Ukrainian citizens in the development of science, cultural and public life, the study of historical, contemporary and the formation of future relations between Ukraine, Poland and Europe.
