Last month, Roshen Corporation presented Polytechnicians a long-term partnership program with Universities of Ukraine «To the Top with Roshen», which aims to improve the quality of education to meet the needs of today’s labour market, as well as to integrate education and science with business. On August 30, corporation representatives paid a visit to Polytechnic for the second time – to discuss the possibilities and directions of scientific cooperation with our university.
The delegation included Olha Savkina, the Head of Assessment and Training, Volodymyr Yarandin, the Technical Director, and Ivan Shnypir, R&D Center Representative. Nataliia Chukhray, Vice-Rector for Scientific Research, Liliia Zhuk, the Head of the University Research and Development Department, and Iryna Romanovska, the Head of the Department of Marketing and Innovation, welcomed the guests.
During the meeting, there were presented the departments of the Institute of Chemistry and Chemical Technologies, in cooperation with which the corporation is interested. At first, Polytechnicians told about areas of their work and suggested ideas for further partnership. Then the guests visited mentioned Departments, where they were acquainted with the available equipment, human resources, etc. and agreed on the topics of cooperation with the researchers.
The next step is to sign the memorandum. According to Roshen representatives, the conclusion of the agreement and the start of joint projects with Polytechnic are planned for the current year.
