Ukrainian and Lithuanian researchers will jointly implement 12 research projects financed from the budgets of their governments in 2020–2021. The list of winners was approved during the 8th meeting of the bilateral Ukrainian-Lithuanian Commission for Cooperation in Science and Technology, which was held on October 8, 2019 in Kyiv.
Joint researches will address disease management, ecology, new materials and technologies, energy conservation, etc. 8 Ukrainian universities and 4 scientific institutions from different regions of Ukraine – Kyiv, Odesa, Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Ternopil and Kharkiv – will participate in the projects.
The list of winners includes a project of researchers from Lviv Polytechnic National University. «Development of high-performance organic white LEDs based on the exciplex and slow fluorescence for the newest lighting systems»; project manager in Ukraine – Pavlo Stakhira, project manager in the Republic of Lithuania – Dmytro Volyniuk from Kauno Technologijos Universitetas.
