Dear students and academic staff!
I am glad that we have the opportunity to return to the usual form of study, to see each other, to communicate and to inspire. Over the past year, we have become stronger and more mature, and we have also learned to appreciate seemingly very familiar and everyday things. So first of all, I wish everyone good health and endurance.
The freshmen, who will open the doors of Lviv Polytechnic this year, will have an extremely interesting time – new opportunities, initiatives and dreams. My advice to you – do not be afraid! Be inquisitive and persistent, purposeful and stubborn to get the most out of studying at the University. Here you have all the conditions and opportunities!
Due to the hard work and diligence of students, academicians and researchers, Lviv Polytechnic for the last ten years is in the top five Ukrainian universities according to the results of national and international rankings. In the annual ranking of the best universities in the World University Rankings 2021 Polytechnic is a leader among Ukrainian higher education institutions in three subject areas (Computer science, Physical Sciences, Business & Economics), and in another area (Engineering & technology) shares its position with only one HEI of Ukraine. In the field of Information Technology (Engineering & technology) Polytechnic is among the 250 best universities in the world.
Our University is growing – in the new academic year almost five thousand freshmen will study at Polytechnic. The number of structural subdivisions is also increasing. We are open to constructive cooperation, new and interesting projects. We pay a lot of attention and efforts to establish international activities, including cooperation with new countries, which will help expand the prospects for study abroad, internships and exchange of valuable experience. So the chances for successful self-realization will be even greater!
May this academic year be filled with interesting meetings and fruitful work, new initiatives and good results, so that everyone can feel that the efforts made are not in vain!
