Cooperation and synergy between Erasmus + projects are among the key factors in their success. Dissemination of project results is also extremely important, as this allows to ensure the sustainable impact of implemented changes and innovations.
On April 22, 2021, Oleksandr Berezko, Associate Professor of SCIA Department and OPTIMA Project Manager, took part in a Virtual Study Visit to the University of Côte d’Azur (France) of the MINERVA project. Although the target countries of this project are Moldova and Armenia, it has much in common with OPTIMA, as its goal is to create conditions for the implementation of the basic principles of Open Science in the HEIs of these countries.
The specific objective of MINERVA is threefold:
- to advance national and institutional guidelines, policies, and incentives related to the open science in Moldova and Armenia,
- to establish digital repositories at all project`s partner HEIs in Moldova and Armenia and to foster their infrastructural development and interoperability, and
- to build human research capacities in order to ensure the sustainable implementation of open science principles and enhance the social inclusiveness and accountability of publicly-funded research.
During the study visit, Oleksandr made a report on "Open Science and Open Review Platform in Ukraine - OPTIMA Project", which provoked a lively discussion by members of the MINERVA project team. This step will allow for the exchange of experiences and best practices between projects to make better use of their results.
