On September 27, 2021, representatives of the Faculty of Management, the Krakow AGH University of Science and Technology, paid an official visit to Lviv Polytechnic within the framework of a cooperation agreement which provides for wide and constant exchange of students and academic staff, joint intensive research and double diploma programs.
The guests met with the Head of the Department of Accounting and Analysis, Doctor of Economics, Professor Ihor Yaremko, Department of Business Economics and Investment, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Professor Vasyl Kozyk, Dean for Master Studies, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor Yurii Malynovskyi and leading faculty of the Department of Accounting and Analysis.
During the meeting they discussed the project of study programs for the next academic year for Lviv Polytechnic students studying at AGH University of Science and Technology on the double diploma programs, as well as opportunities for double supervision of master’s theses conducted at AGH, and expanding opportunities for cooperation in education for students of other specialties.
The Department of Accounting and Analysis has been closely cooperating with AGH University of Science and Technology for over 10 years. Such cooperation consists, first of all, of realization the double diploma programs, mutual participation of researchers and students of both universities in the international scientific and student conferences, creative competitions of student research works, and joint publishing activity.
Both sides expressed a desire to expand cooperation within the double diploma programs for students of other specialties, which was the purpose of the trip of AGH representatives to Lviv Polytechnic.
