On August 6, students began to be vaccinated at Lviv Polytechnic National University. Anyone can register and come for vaccination to the student clinic on 14 Boi-Zhelenskoho Street. Roman Korzh, Vice-Rector for Education and Social Development, Lviv Polytechnic, told about this at a briefing of the Lviv Regional State Administration on the epidemiological situation in the Lviv region.

«A total of about 25,000 students study here, 7,000 live on the university campus. 400 were vaccinated. Our goal is to create comfortable conditions for students so that they can get vaccinated in one place at a certain time. We focus on vaccinating 100–120 people every day», said Roman Korzh.

Registration is done through the Student Union, and anyone can either come to the Department directly or register with all the required information. Vaccination in the City Hospital No.10 is carried out on weekdays from 9:00 to 13:00. The number of people willing to receive the vaccine is not decreasing among the teaching staff, half of them have already been vaccinated.

«Academic staff can get vaccinated, as well as students, in our clinic. Now we are starting to vaccinate administrative and economic staff. On behalf of the Rector’s Office, we express our gratitude to the doctors for their help and for the fact that the vaccine is always delivered on time and in sufficient quantities», added the Vice-Rector of Lviv Polytechnic.
