StartUp Breakthrough 2020 was opened at the Tech StartUp School, Lviv Polytechnic National University.
The event was attended by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal, the Head of Lviv Regional State Administration Maksym Kozytskyi and the Deputy Mayor for Innovation Andrii Moskalenko, with whose assistance within the city’s startup support program the two teams will receive UAH 25,000 each.
During the opening there was a thematic panel discussion with Nazar Bilous, founder of LaMetric.LIFE and mentor of StartUp Breakthrough 2020, Volodymyr Zaiets, participant of the first StartUp Breakthrough and one of the founders of the startup team Skeiron, Ihor Shmyhelskyi, representative of project investors and Peter Mejer-Rasmussen, a representative of Lviv International Rotary Club. The moderator was Orest Zub, an online entrepreneur and traveler.
The Prime Minister had the opportunity to see a startup exhibition of Tech StartUp School programs participants – Creative Spark and CIG R&D LAB, participants of the Ukraine-Norway project and participants of Startup Breakthrough of previous seasons – Lingart – Living Books, Skeiron, Drinmix, Lady Di atelier, Tech LabInno, Warm paper and others.
