Tech StartUp School of Lviv Polytechnic National University and the Department of Administrative and Financial Management of the Institute of Administration and Postgraduate Education of University in partnership with Kingston University became the winners of the British Council Creative Spark. It should be noted that out of over one hundred applications from all over Eastern Europe, only twenty were approved.
This grant program involves activating entrepreneurial and innovative activities. Within the framework of the project, in particular, it is planned to prepare a program for startup makers and entrepreneurs training with the participation of British specialists, as well as holding conferences and exchanging experiences. And, most importantly, – free training for Ukrainian entrepreneurs and startup makers according to the world’s leading methodologies.
– The uniqueness of this grant (it’s worth almost 2 million hryvnias) is that it involves the best British trainers who have vast experience in training startup makers and scaling up small businesses. Thus, five lecturers of the Department will have the opportunity to study in the UK. Also there will be trainings for entrepreneurs. All trainings will be available online on a specially designed learning platform, and the project maker will also receive appropriate training. In general, we are looking forward to this exciting and interesting project, which will allow learning from the experience of the British and Lviv Polytechnic, as according to the project, the number of people to be trained is over six hundred. That is why we are now actively searching for partners in the regions to open branches of Tech StartUp School of Lviv Polytechnic, said the director of Tech StartUp School of University, Head of the AFM Department, Professor Nazarii Podolchak.
The best startup makers will be able to present their projects to the English and Ukrainian business and academic communities, to get the opportunity to attract world investments, as well as to launch projects on the StartEra crowdfunding site.
To implement the project, we are looking for partners in different regions, where together with the British we will deliver a series of lectures on business and start-up development.
