On September 22, Vice-Rectors and Directors of Lviv Polytechnic Institutes took part in a meeting with Viktoriia Cherkasova, an epidemiologist at the Lviv Pulmonary Health Center, about the importance of vaccination against COVID-19.
The doctor stressed that on September 21, 2021 in Ukraine, 6,754 new confirmed cases of coronavirus COVID-19 were recorded. 2,175 people got hospitalized; 105 people died; 2,095 people recovered.
Viktoriia Cherkasova also told in detail about the specifics of vaccines that can be vaccinated in Ukraine – and dispelled the myths about the contraindications to vaccination.
Let us remind you that Polytechnicians – research and teaching staff, general staff and students over 18 can be vaccinated Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna, CoronaVac, and AstraZeneca.

- Lviv City Hospital No. 10 (14 Boi-Zhelenskoho Street – Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 13:00);
- Lviv City Hospital No. 4 (3 Stetska Street – Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 14:00);
- Forum Lviv shopping mall (Tuesday to Friday from 15.00 to 18.00);
- Arena Lviv stadium (Monday – from 14.30 to 18.00 and Tuesday – from 15.00 to 18.30);
- Dovzhenko Center (Monday to Friday – from 15.00 to 18.30).
We remind you that vaccination against COVID-19 does not eliminate the need for:
- ventilate the room;
- keep a distance of 1.5–2 m;
- wear masks in crowded places;
- wash your hands or, if this is not possible, treat them with a disinfectant after being on the street, in shops, in transport, in the elevator and other public places.
