The participants were welcomed by the Deputy Vice Rector for Scientific Research of the University Liliia Zhuk, who emphasized the achievements of Polytechnic in recent years, which make the institution competitive.
The event takes place in the form of several panel discussions that deal with the nowadays challenges in the formulation and implementation of competition policy, competitiveness in conditions of instability and the role of human potential in the implementation of state competition policy.
Among the honored guests of the conference there is Russell Pittman, a frequent guest of Lviv Polytechnic, who lectures to IEM students. He is also a lecturer at Kyiv School of Economics and the Director of Economic Research in the Antitrust Division of the U.S. Department of Justice.
Representatives of Lviv, Kyiv, Odesa, Kharkiv and Rivne universities, economic institutions at the NAS of Ukraine, Polish colleagues from a banking institution in Warsaw and the economic university in Katowice took part in the discussion of important problems of competition policy at the international level.
