The Council of Young Scientists at the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine addressed the President of Ukraine with a request to support the proposal to establish the Day of the Young Scientist in our country.
The community sent a letter to Volodymyr Zelenskyi, which they published on their Facebook page yesterday. According to the Cabinet of Ministers, the main reason for such an initiative is the need to increase the prestige of scientific activity among the youth, social recognition of their work at the national level and improve attitudes towards them in society.
It is proposed to celebrate the Day of the Young Scientist every year on the third Sunday of September.
