On July 5, 2023, the project team presented the main objectives and current results of the Erasmus+ project "Ensuring Academic Freedom and Inclusion through Digitalization" (AFID, No. 101081850 - AFID - ERASMUS-EDU-2022-CBHE) to the management of Lviv Polytechnic National University.
The Rector of the University, Professor Yurii Bobalo, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs and International Relations, Professor Nataliia Chukhrai, and Director of the Institute of Economics and Management, Professor Oleh Kuzmin, were informed about the strategy and concept of creating a multi-institutional inclusive virtual campus (MIIVC), which will offer online courses aimed at developing entrepreneurship competencies to users with different abilities and needs.
The creation of such a campus involves the cooperation of experienced partners from Sweden, Portugal, and Spain with Ukrainian colleagues from the State University of Trade and Economics, Lviv Polytechnic National University, Semen Kuznets Kharkiv National University of Economics, National Technical University "Dnipro Polytechnic", and the NGO "Civic Synergy", who will create the MIIVC, develop inter-university agreements and internal policies for the organization, and provide and ensure the quality of digital education.
It is important to note that the implementation of this project will also allow to support and develop a digital innovative educational environment in the long term, to carry out virtual mobility of students and teachers, and to exchange best educational practices between Ukrainian higher education institutions and European partners.
The presentation of the AFID project to the University administration was made using equipment purchased with project funds. The purchased equipment will contribute to the achievement of the project objectives.The project executors are Doctor of Economics, Professor of the Department of Management and International Business Ihor Oleksiv, Doctor of Economics, Professor, Director of the Institute of Economics and Management Oleh Kuzmin, and employees of the MMP Department, Doctor of Economics, Associate Professor Victoria Kharchuk and Doctor of Economics, Professor Roman Shulyar.
