On May 1, 2024, the team of the project «European studies for technical specialties at Lviv Polytechnic National University» (EUSTS) held an interactive Speaking Club event «New European trends and professional growth» with the participation of more than 60 students and faculty of the University.
The key speaker of the event was Serhii Pylypiv, CEO of the Grafix company, chairman of the Environmental Committee of Rotary International District 2232, developer of the Green Mill compressed air windmill, trainer of the Rotary Institute of Leadership. He shared his success story with the students and told how he managed to establish Grafix, survive the pandemic, the war and keep the company in the top ranking of Ukrainian enterprises focused on entering European markets, as well as build an effective team that develops professionally and strengthens the company’s position.
The director of the company’s marketing department, Andriana Dombrovych, shared her own path of professional growth. At first she served as an assistant to the CEO of the company and eventually received a managerial position and now builds her own team aimed at developing Grafix’s marketing strategy. She also provided good advice on preparing students for their first interviews with potential employers.
The speakers invited the participants of the event to generate their own business ideas and provided their recommendations for their implementation, as well as invited all those interested to join the Grafix team and undergo their first professional internship.
At the end of the Speaking Club, the students had a lot of questions to the speakers, and the most active participants received prizes from Grafix and an invitation to complete their first professional internship under the mentorship of the company’s founder, Serhii Pylypiv.
The EUSTS project team expresses its gratitude to the representatives of the Ukrainian company Grafix, Serhii Pylypiv and Andriana Dombrovych, for valuable practical advice in business, strategies for implementing European trends in the domestic enterprise, and successful stories of professional growth of the company’s employees, who have undoubtedly inspired our students!
