On December 5, 2021, the staff of the International Institute of Education, Culture and Diaspora Relations, Lviv Polytechnic National University, held a cultural and educational event «Kateryna Bilokur. Let the whole world talks about her!»
Online event took place within the Project «Diaspora of the Eastern World: common language» – a new communication platform for a dialogue between the Ukrainians of the Eastern Diaspora and Ukraine. The platform is created for interaction between representatives of public organizations of the Eastern Diaspora and Ukraine. Its goal is to establish regular communication and exchange of experience, as well as to promote the upskilling of leaders and members of public organizations, educators at Ukrainian-language schools, and heads of amateur art schools.
That is why the event was divided into two parts: the cultural component and the communication component.
Oksana Halaichuk, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Research Fellow, IECDR, moderated the event.
The participants were greeted by Sofia Zielyk, American pysanka artist of Ukrainian origin, cultural officer of the World Federation of Ukrainian Women’s Organizations, master of ceramic painting, member of the Union of Folk Masters of Ukraine.
