Human life and health are under constant threat in conditions of martial law and active hostilities. The military, Territorial Defense Forces and civilians are often injured. In such aggressive conditions, the skin, which protects the body from external mechanical influences, is particularly stressed and the likelihood of damage increases.
Scratches, cracks, first degree burns – these are the consequences that we now face almost every day. The Zerno.bio team is solving this problem on the basis of the innovative biotechnology laboratory Biotech Hub, created at Tech StartUp School, Lviv Polytechnic National University.
Scientists are developing a protective cream for the skin with restorative properties. Its functions will include:
- rapid regeneration and healing of damaged skin;
- antibacterial action that prevents infection;
- active hydration;
- scar reduction.
The team needs financial support to implement the idea.
