On May 16–17, 2019, the IV International Scientific and Practical Conference on Quality Management in Education and Industry: Experience, Problems and Prospects was held at Lviv Polytechnic National University.
Welcoming the guests, the University Rector, Professor Yurii Bobalo, noted that the initiator and organizer of this scientific event is the Institute of Computer Technologies, Automation and Metrology, in particular the Department of Measuring Information Technologies, which this year celebrates its 100th anniversary. The significant experience of scientific, practical and organizational work of the team under the direction of Professor Bohdan Stadnyk made the Department a leader in Ukraine and well-known abroad in the field of Metrology, Measuring Information Technologies, Standardization, Certification and Quality Management.
The International Scientific and Practical Conference brought together scientists from different universities of Ukraine (from Kyiv, Bila Tserkva, Lviv, Vinnytsa, Kharkiv, Khmelnytskyi, Sumy, Zhytomyr, Sokal, Kryvyi Rih, Dnipro, Kramatorsk, Dubliany, Ivano-Frankivsk, Hlevakha and Poltava), as well as abroad – from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Serbia and Poland. Ukrainian and foreign participants (160 people in general) submitted to the Organizing Committee 86 abstracts, which had been published in a separate collection before the conference began.
In addition to experienced experts in quality management in education and industry, young scientists – postgraduates and students who also had something to tell and discuss at the sections – actively participated in the conference.
