On March 29–30, 2017, regional volleyball competition for students of educational institutions of the 1st and 2nd levels of accreditation was held in Kolomyia Polytechnic College of Lviv Polytechnic National University. The competition was part of Ivano-Frankivsk oblast Spartakiada.
Participants and spectators honoured by a minute of silence the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred and ATO soldiers, who died defending the independence of Ukraine. Khrystyna Levytska, winner of All-Ukrainian and regional song festivals, sang «Sweetpeople», which she dedicated to the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred.
The competition results:
- 1 place: Kolomyia Polytechnic College of Lviv Polytechnic National University;
- 2 place: Kolomyia Industrial and Pedagogic College;
- 3 place: Kosiv Decorative and Applied Arts College.
