The results of the international QS World University Rankings 2023 have been published.
Lviv Polytechnic has risen one place in the ranking of national universities and ranks fifth in it, in the overall ranking – it is in the category of 801–1000 of the best universities in the world for three years in a row.
This year, our University showed positive dynamics in five of the six evaluation criteria included in the ranking methodology. The Faculty/Student ratio is the best indicator. According to it, Lviv Polytechnic ranks 326th in the world, rising by five positions and improving its score by 0.3 points compared to last year. Academic Reputation and Employer Reputation are traditionally high. According to these criteria, Lviv Polytechnic maintains its position in the 501+ category and improved its score by 0.9 and 0.2 points, respectively. According to other criteria, our University is in the category of 601+. According to the number of International Faculty and International Students, the score increased by 0.7 and 0.1 points, respectively. According to the Citations per Faculty, except for self-citation, the scores have not changed.

A total of 2,462 universities took part in the rankings, 1,422 of which were included in the rankings (last year – 1,300). Ukraine was represented in the ranking by 11 higher education institutions (last year – 8).
