This time the developments of the research teams of the University were presented by: Roman Zinko, Associate Professor, the Institute of Mechanical Engineering and Transport, Zenovii Znak, Head of the Department of Chemistry and Technology of Inorganic Substances, ICCT, and Viktor Tkachenko, Director of SRDI ELVIT.
Roman Zinko, a long-time participant of the exhibition, demonstrated mobile robotic platforms: MRP-05 «Borsuk» and MRP-07 «Kubik». Zenovii Znak presented two tools for masking military equipment and personnel: RDG-55MB and RDG-55MCH hand smoke grenades and the latest exhibit – a universal smoke grenade UDSH-U, as well as a filter for water purification in the field, made on the basis of the natural mineral clinoptilolite. , modified with silver, which guarantees the antibacterial properties of the filter backfill, as well as manganese oxide, which oxidizes iron compounds in water. Another development of chemists is a powdered hemostatic drug, made on the basis of silver-modified natural clinoptilolite. The drug quickly stops the blood and has antibacterial and sorbent action.
The exhibition is held annually at the International Exhibition Center in Kyiv and is dedicated to a range of issues related to security and defense. According to its organizers, this is the only business in Ukraine – a platform for meeting the main state customers – departments whose activities are related to the security of the state and citizens. This is also an opportunity to join the deep modernization of production facilities of defense industry enterprises. And, after all, these are favorable conditions for expanding the circle of consumers, and participation of many representatives of related industries, the driver of which is the defense industry (engineering, telecommunications and communications, light, food industry, etc.).
