The Ministry of Education and Culture has approved the amount of research funding for HEIs: Lviv Polytechnic is among the largest managers of budget funds

In accordance with the order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine No. 19 of January 10, 2024, the amounts of funding for fundamental and applied research and scientific and technical (experimental) developments, which are to be implemented in 2024 by institutions of higher education and scientific institutions belonging to the sphere of management of the Ministry of Education and Culture, as well as the amount of financial support for scientific objects that are national property in 2024 have been approved.

The top largest managers of the budget funds among institutions of higher education are:

1. Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv (75684.690 thousand UAH);
2. V. Karazin Kharkiv National University (43765.700);
3. Lviv Polytechnic National University (35,131,730);
4. Sumy State University (33518,370);
5. National Technical University «Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute» (28759,600).
