The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine together with the Open4UA project consortium invite to a webinar within the Open Government Week 2024.
Open Science (OS) and Open Government (OG) share several common goals, primarily related to transparency, accessibility, and collaboration. To realize them effectively, coordination between the respective communities is necessary. Possible strategies for joining forces include cross-sectoral initiatives, integration of open science policies into government, data sharing and interoperability, capacity building, and public engagement in such initiatives. By aligning their efforts and working together, OA and OC advocates can maximize their impact and contribute to a more transparent, inclusive, and capable society. The event will discuss the applicability of the Open4UA project's recommendations to the implementation of OG in Ukraine.
