StartEra can attract new investments and make the dreams of creative startup makers come true. The first crowdfunding platform in Western Ukraine helps young developers to implement relevant ideas. – Please tell us about the crowdfunding platform StartEra.
– The crowdfunding platform StartEra was created for the implementation of social projects and startups. Anyone can join to support projects by providing a certain amount of money. Everything happens in electronic form. If you transfer funds, it will be immediately shown on the crowdfunding platform. By attracting a large number of people, everyone is able to raise enough money to implement their idea.
– What is the uniqueness of the crowdfunding platform?
– The crowdfunding platform StartEra is focused on supporting startup projects. We work without commission, because we believe that first of all we help to implement interesting ideas. Before the project is released, the platform’s experts evaluate it. We also have a special program with the Lviv City Council, which allows us to raise 50 percent of the funds on the platform, the remaining 50 percent is co-financed by Lviv City Council. Co-financing is carried out only if the project corresponds to the development strategy of the city of Lviv. All payment systems are connected to the platform. This provides an opportunity to receive funds from abroad.
– Who can post projects on the platform?
– We do not set any restrictions. These may even be foreign contractors. The main requirements for the project are relevance and benefit for society and ecology.
– What about project registration process?
– There are several ways to register. The first way is to send the project to our mail. The entire registration procedure will be carried out without your participation. The second way is to create a cabinet yourself and register. The experts of the platform will check and evaluate the project. The information will then be made public. You can also come to Tech StartUp School and present the project to our administrator, who provides registration and consulting.
– How are projects hosted on StartEra financed?
– First of all, we are posting a project. For many projects, we even provide a certain amount of money under a special grant program for advertising. We also advertise projects on social networks. People send their charitable contributions to a special account. This accumulates a certain amount of money.
– Do you plan to upgrade the platform in the future?
– The process of modernization of the crowdfunding platform StartEra is currently underway. We update the design of the platform, add new options. In the future we plan to develop additional crowdfunding functions.
