On 12 March 2025, Lviv Polytechnic National University held the election of the Rector.
At the meeting of the election organising committee on 13 March, the voting results were approved (Minutes No. 9).
Voting results:
- Oleksandr Berezko – 145 (3.53%);
- Zinovii Blikharsky – 760 (18.50%);
- Nazar Podolchak – 762 (18.54%);
- Yurii Rashkevych – 654 (15.92%);
- Dmytro Simak – 49 (1.19%);
- Nataliia Shakhovska – 1119 (27.23%);
- do not support any candidate – 45 (1.1%);
- invalid ballots – 17 (0.41%).
According to the voting results, in accordance with the Regulations on the procedure for the election of the rector, the second round will be held on 19 March 2025.
