The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine (MES) continues cooperation with the online education platform Coursera. So, higher education institutions and students have free access to Coursera for Campus courses until July 31, 2024.
The MES started cooperation with the platform in March 2022. During this time, 250 Ukrainian institutions of higher education have received unlimited access to 8,700 courses. And more than 56,000 Ukrainian students have already completed 180,000 courses and received certificates.
Coursera has translated more than 4,000 courses into Ukrainian and launched new tools based on artificial intelligence for more personalized and interactive learning. Now the most popular courses – The Science of Well-Being by Yale University, AI for Everyone by DeepLearning.AI, and What is Data Science? by IBM – are available in Ukrainian.
The Ukrainian students prefer studying digital and technical specialties. Thus, the most popular platform’s courses are:
- English for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (University of Pennsylvania);
- Programming for Everyone (Getting Started with Python) (University of Michigan);
- Basics of project management (Google);
- Neural networks and deep learning (DeepLearning.AI);
- Basics of user interaction design (UX) (Google);
- English for Career Development (University of Pennsylvania);
- HTML, CSS and Javascript for Web Developers (Johns Hopkins University);
- Basics: Data, Data, Everywhere (Google);
- SQL for Scientific Data (University of California);
- Introduction to interface development (Meta).
