On June 16-17, 2022, the Department of Political Science and International Relations, the Institute of the Humanities and Social Sciences, together with the Career Guidance Center, Lviv Polytechnic National University, held the Third Online School of Youth Diplomacy Hub on «Wartime Diplomacy».
This year about 80 pupils and students interested in international relations and diplomatic work attended the event. The participants discussed topical issues of development of modern Ukrainian wartime diplomacy, got acquainted with the possibilities of improving the professional knowledge necessary for successful career growth of a young specialist in international relations.
The event is aimed at transferring experience, practical skills of representatives of diplomatic and consular services, civil servants and public activists to students majoring in International Relations, Public Communications and Regional Studies, acquaintance with the peculiarities of consular and diplomatic relations, young people's understanding of modern diplomacy as well as raising the level of professional knowledge necessary for successful career growth of young professionals.
The School students were especially interested in the reports of Yaroslav Vizniak, the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Lithuania in Ternopil, who told how the consulate works in wartime, about the development of cooperation between Ukraine and Lithuania, and pointed out the necessary competencies of a young international specialist in modern conditions.
