On 29 November, Lviv Polytechnic National University will open a new student space, L.I.S. – Learning Inspiring Space. Its official presentation will start at 12:00 in the first academic building.

The creation of the space was initiated in 2018 by a group of students studying under the Internet of Things program at the Institute of Computer Technologies, Automation and Metrology of Lviv Polytechnic. The group was led by Andrii Stashkiv and Nikita Kiseliov.

The L.I.S. student space will also host a Tutoring and Mentoring Centre. Such collaboration will help to provide additional services and engage capable and proactive students in different activities for their development and self-realization.

This student space provides for the creation of a coworking space with workplaces for individual work, and if necessary, it can be transformed for joint work: for example, to organize a round table or invite interesting speakers to meet students.

Lviv Polytechnic managed to implement the idea of young people thanks to the support of its philanthropic partners. In particular, Jacob Dalhoff, CEO of MatchOffice Ukraine, who has been collaborating with Lviv Polytechnic for more than two years and has become our true friend. He liked the idea of coworking and got really excited about the student project. Therefore, he became the main driver and motivator of the project.

Service Ukraine Ltd and architect Yaroslav Karashetskyy (Karashetskyy Architects) also helped to create this space.
