A new international project, the Ukrainian-Danish Center for Scientific and Technological Cooperation (UA&DK Tech Hub), was launched in early March in Lviv. This is the result of a visit to Copenhagen by the representatives of Tech StartUp School, Lviv Polytechnic National University.
The main directions of UA&DK Tech Hub:
- search for Danish investors to develop Ukrainian innovations and startups;
- development of academic mobility programs and other types of scientific and educational cooperation between Lviv Polytechnic and Danish universities;
- development of business cooperation between Ukrainian and Danish partners, commercialization of results of scientific activity of Lviv Polytechnic.
On March 16, 2020, Jakob Dalhoff, Head of UA&DK Tech Hub, met with Oleksii Druhov, Deputy Director of University’s Tech StartUp School. They discussed plans and action for Tech Hub development. Particular attention was paid to familiarize startup teams with the European requirements of preparing business plans and attracting Danish investors to project financing. Also they discussed the work issues during quarantine. The Center’s action plan will be posted on the Internet in the near future.
The new international project of Tech StartUp School, Lviv Polytechnic, will provide more opportunities for development of education, innovations and business. Everyone interested in working with Danish partners is asked to contact online. After the quarantine period, there will be an official opening of the Ukrainian-Danish Center for Scientific and Technological Cooperation.
