Recently, in the Ukrainian-Japanese Center of Lviv Polytechnic Andrii Andrukhiv, the Director of the Scientific and Technical Library of the University, Ihor Zorii, the Head of the Center, Associate Professor Oksana Kaminska, the Acting Head of the Department of Foreign Languages, and the Associate Professor Myron Fedoryshyn welcomed the highly distinguished guests – Mr. Hoshino Yuichi, the Second Secretary of the Embassy of Japan in Ukraine, and Kyrylo Yaroshyk, the member of the Department of Culture and Information.
Ihor Zorii told the guests about the events that have already taken place since the Center was established and shared his plans for the future. Mr. Hoshino Yuichi spoke about the preparation of a Japanese music concert at Mariia Zankovetska National Academic Ukrainian Drama Theater, which takes place on October 22, 2019, on the occasion of the ascension of emperor Naruhito to the throne. And, what is very good for the students of our University, they discussed the participation in the Mirai (Future) project: Lviv Polytechnicians will have a unique opportunity to visit and study in the Land of the Rising Sun.
