On June 24, 2021, the Department of Theory and Philosophy of Law, Constitutional and International Law, the Institute of Jurisprudence, Psychology and Innovative Education, Lviv Polytechnic, held the Third International Scientific and Practical Conference «Constitutional Reform in Ukraine: Experience of Central and Eastern Europe» on the Zoom platform.
Over 80 participants, including the Department faculty, the Institute of Jurisprudence, Psychology and Innovative Education and the Institute of Economics and Management, other institutions of higher education of Ukraine (Lviv, Dnipro, Kyiv, Odesa, Ostroh, Rivne), visiting professors of the Department of Theory and Philosophy of Law, Constitutional and International Law from Norway and Poland, partners from foreign higher education institutions from Brazil (Curitiba), Italy (Macerata), Lithuania (Vilnius) and Poland (Wroclaw, Zielona Góra and Lublin), legal practitioners and expert analysts, postgraduate students, and students majoring in 081 «Law» took part in the event.
Participants of the scientific meeting:
- ran a productive retrospective of the adoption of the Constitution of Ukraine on June 28, 1996, the challenges and prospects of the revision, amendments and additions to it;
- discussed issues related to the development of the fundamental principles of constitutionalism in the world.
