On February 19–20, 2024, the University of Macerata in Italy held a meeting of participants of the international consortium, partners of the project Digital TuRn in EUrope: Strengthening relational reliance through Technology, TRUST, grant agreement 101007820, Horizon2020-MSCA-RISE.
Among the consortium’s academic and non-academic partners, in addition to Lviv Polytechnic National University, there were representatives of Belgium, Israel, Spain, Italy, China and France, who participated in the report on the results, challenges and threats to the implementation of the planned tasks of the project that arose since the previous September meeting in Tel Aviv, Israel.
Iryna Sofinska, head of the project from Lviv Polytechnic, Doctor of Laws, Professor at the Department of Theory of Law and Constitutionalism, the Institute of Jurisprudence, Psychology and Innovative Education, informed the coordinator of the TRUST Rise project and the consortium partners about the results of the implementation of project tasks in autumn 2023 and plans for 2024 by scientific and pedagogical employees of the University, in particular, postgraduate students.
At the meeting within the brokerage event, presentations were also made on the development of transversal skills and open science in the EU and the introduction of additional necessary platforms for interdisciplinary dialogue and verification of scientific research regarding legal regulation and trust in the use of blockchain technology and artificial intelligence, as well as international accreditation of relevant master’s degree programs.
We would like to remind you that Lviv Polytechnic National University joined the consortium as a Ukrainian academic partner for the implementation of the TRUST Rise project in September 1, 2023. According to the planned participation of the University’s scientific and pedagogical staff (in particular, postgraduate students) in the TRUST Rise project during the 2023/2024 academic year, there will be a trip to the non-academic partners of the project in Israel, Spain, Italy and France, as well as joint publications with representatives of the academic and non-academic project, participation in seminars, workshops, symposia and conferences organized by project partners, etc.
