On November 15, 2023, the workshop «Boost your digitalization» took place in Lviv Polytechnic within the framework of the project «European studies for technical specialties at Lviv Polytechnic National University (EUSTS) with the support of the Erasmus+ programme, Jean Monet. The interactive event contributed to the development of practical digital skills of the participants, as well as the formation of knowledge that will help improve work and personal experience in the digital world.
During the workshop, the speakers – Oleksandr Markovets, head of the Department of Social Communication and Information Activities, the Institute of the Humanities and Social Sciences, and Ruslana Pazderska, postgraduate student of the Department of the Humanities and Social Sciences, shared knowledge and life hacks regarding the use of digital technologies for:
- understanding the digital environment: introducing participants to the basics of the digital world and the importance of digital literacy;
- mastering key tools: learning the practical aspects of using various digital tools and resources for effective work and personal development;
- promotion of digital transformation thinking: development of analysis skills and adoption of innovations in a digital context;
- creating a strategy for personal digital development: helping participants develop an action plan to constantly improve their digital skills and adapt to changes in the digital environment, including presenting their own brand in social networks.
The participants also learned about the basic rules of information security and discussed the dangers of digitization. In total, 30 people joined the workshop not only from Lviv Polytechnic, but also from Kyiv, Ternopil, Ivano-Frankivsk and Zolochiv.
The EUSTS project team sincerely expresses its gratitude to all the participants of this event – students and teachers – and continues to work on the organization of other, no less interesting events on the current topics of the European integration of Ukraine.
