At the beginning of June 2019, the XI International Scientific Conference on Problems of Research, Preservation and Restoration of Historical Fortifications was held in Medzhybizh (Ukraine) and Chełm (Poland).
The scientific meeting started at the conference hall of the Medzhybizh Reserve and later the participants of the event visited this historical-cultural place .
The second day of the conference was held at the State Higher Vocational School in Chełm, located in Dełputycze Królewskie.
Friendly hosts created the unique atmosphere, which was supported by interesting reports, professional communication and excellent working conditions.
Summing up the work of the conference, Doctor of Architecture, Professor Mykola Bevz noted its high level and outlined tasks to be resolved before the next conference. It was decided that after Mezhybizh the next conference will be held in the Kyiv fortress.
