Representatives of Infineon Technologies (Viktor Kremin, Sviatoslav Palii, Andrii Spitzer, Taras Dominiuk and Iryna Shevchuk) met with representatives of Lviv Polytechnic National University – Ivan Demydov, Vice-Rector for Scientific Research, Roman Nebesnyi, Head of Research and Development Department, Anatolii Melnyk, Head of the Department of Electronic Computing Machines, Professor Valerii Hlukhov, the Department of Electronic Computing Machines, Nazar Podolchak, Director of Tech StartUp School, and Nataliia Hots, Head of the Center for International Education. They discussed the possibility to equip, with the help of Infineon Technologies, a laboratory in our StartUp School, to conduct there practical training of students, using Infineon Technologies products, as well as to organize scientific and practical competitions for students and provide exhibits for the computer development history room, etc.
The common vision of Infineon Technologies and Lviv Polytechnic National University – is to support active students during their studies, creating opportunities for them not to combine studies at the University in their second-third year of study with work, but at the same time informing students about the company. This is the formation of a certain loyalty of the student to the company. The young specialist, being a second-third year student, begins to see the company as his desired employer. The growth of the IT industry in Lviv is about 20–30% annually, respectively, the companies in this industry have a high need for talented professionals who are trained at our University, in particular at the Department of Electronic Computing Machines.
