Dear Polytechnicians!
On the eve of the New Year and Christmas, I thank you all for your daily work for the benefit of Lviv Polytechnic. I know how much effort everyone applies to make our University be in a list of the most successful institutions of higher education – both in Ukraine and in the world.
The passing year was full of challenges and generous for achievements. Lviv Polytechnic got the highest position in Ukraine in the overall World University Rankings 2020 by Times Higher Education and entered three rankings by subject that have already been published, being ranked the first among Ukrainian universities. This year our University has been in the top five most popular higher education institutions in Ukraine according to the number of applications submitted by entrants – and such a high level we have been reaching for years. In 2019, Polytechnicians participated in 16 international programs, which opened up new opportunities for both, academics and students. The number of partner universities of Lviv Polytechnic has also increased: now there are 152 of them. During this year, our researchers have received many Honorary State Awards and Awards of the President of Ukraine
I am convinced that all this has become possible due to the teamwork and the ability of our employees and students to unite to overcome difficulties and reach new peaks.
I am also convinced that next year for Lviv Polytechnic and everyone in it will be generous for new achievements. I want to believe that together, uniting all our efforts, we will conquer new peaks.
I wish each of You, Dear Polytechnics, happiness and health in the New Year. May you have lots of reasons for joy and gratitude. Peace and harmony to our Ukraine and every home.
