The Center for International Projects «YevroOsvita» in partnership with the international expert group IREG Observatory on Academic Ranking and Excellence presented the academic ranking of higher education institutions of Ukraine of the III-IV accreditation levels «Top 200 Ukraine 2019».
In this year’s ranking, experts took into account current trends in the universities development, developed by the International Conference IREG 2019 on Challenges before University Rankings, which this year was held at the oldest university in Europe – the University of Bologna (Alma Mater Studiórnum Università di Bologna) from May 8 to 10, 2019.
The top three ranking leaders are Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, the National Technical University of Ukraine «Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute» and V. Karazin Kharkiv National University. On the fourth place there is Lviv Polytechnic National University, which lacked only 0.02 points to get to the third position.
Another higher education institution in Lviv – Ivan Franko National University of Lviv – is on the ninth place in the ranking.
