The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine has summed up the results of the second competitive selection of research projects funded by the European Union under the Horizon 2020 programme.
This competition is an important step for the development of Ukrainian science and its integration into the European research area. A total of 142 projects took part in the competition, 106 of which were accepted for further consideration. Based on the results of the expert evaluation, 33 participants became winners.
The funding was distributed in three main areas:
- Infrastructure projects – 5 winners;
- Research and development projects – 23 winners;
- Projects to support innovation – 5 winners.
Among the winners of the second competitive selection in Area 3 «Scientific and technical projects aimed at supporting the innovative activities of higher education and research institutions» is the project «Deep Tech Prototyping Laboratory» of researchers from Lviv Polytechnic National University, led by Roman Nebesnyi, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Senior Researcher, Head of the Research and Development Department.
