On June 19–20, 2019, in the framework of the European Union project ERASMUS+ «Creating a modern master’s program in information systems (MASTIS)», there was a final meeting of participating universities project teams at the National Technical University of Ukraine «Ihor Sikorskyi Kyiv Polytechnic Institute».
Yurii Rashkevych – the Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine, Nataliia Stukalo – the Head of the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education of Ukraine, Svitlana Shytikova – the Director of the National Erasmus+ office, Maksym Pochebut – the Head of Educational Programs «EPAM Systems Ukraine», the Vice President of the IT Ukraine Association on Educational Issues, attended the final conference.
Representatives of six Ukrainian universities (Simon Kuznets Kharkiv National University of Economics, the National Technical University of Ukraine «Ihor Sikorskyi Kyiv Polytechnic Institute», Lviv Polytechnic National University, Vinnytsia National Technical University, Kherson State University and the National Technical University «Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute») and European partners from the universities of Münster (Germany), Kaunas (Lithuania), Maribor (Slovenia), Liechtenstein, Lyon 2 (France), Agder (Norway), Rome (Italy), Luleå (Sweden) and Italian IT Associations participated in this meeting. Ihor Oleksiv, the Professor of the Department of Management and International Business of Lviv Polytechnic, also took part in the event.
At the meeting, the partner universities shared their experience in collaborating with the IT business regarding developing the master’s competencies in the field of Information Systems, demonstrated the results achieved in implementing the latest education technologies and piloting developed academic disciplines that are key for master students of Information Systems.
