Scientists from Ukraine and Poland came to Lviv Polytechnic to the XII International Scientific and Practical Conference «Marketing and Logistics in Management System».
The event lasted for three days – from October 25 to 27. The conference was organized and held at the Department of Marketing and Logistics of the Institute of Economics and Management of Lviv Polytechnic together with Maria Curie-Sklodowska University (Lublin, Poland) and Krakow University of Economics (Krakow, Poland). Since 1996 Polytechnic has organized such an event every two years. This year about 120 scientists from more than 40 Ukrainian and 8 Polish higher education institutions came to Lviv to share their experiences. According to the organizers, the lion’s share of the conference is permanent participants.
The purpose of the conference is to work out innovations in the field of Marketing and Logistics in order to bring theoretical achievements closer to their practical use and to promote them among scientists and society.
According to the organizer, Professor Yevhen Krykavskyi, Head of ML Department, the conference focuses not only on branches of science, but on solving social problems – scientists are actively working on sustainable development, ecologization and environmental protection which are important for the world economy and humanity.
Thus, the conference promotes the establishment of mutually beneficial partnerships not only with scientific organizations, but with market structures as well.
