Dear Polytechnicians!
There are symbols that whole generations grow up with. There are values that have been fought for for centuries. There are ideas that sow the seeds of unconditional love in the hearts of millions of people. For us, this is the freedom and independence of the state, which undoubtedly begins with the inner freedom of a person. Only free and conscious people are able to withstand the struggle for their country and continue to defend it, even at the cost of their own lives.
For us, Day of the National Flag and Independence Day of Ukraine have long been not just a symbolic celebration of a certain date, but the meaning of our ancestors’ lives, guidelines for the current generation and guides for our descendants. Having gone through a century-long war with the aggressor country, we are at the epicenter of events that are crucial for Ukraine and each of us and can change the history of the whole world. Every day we are convinced of the sacrifice that this dreamed-of Independence is given, of how much we have to give to be called a Nation.
We believe in our victory! We express our gratitude and bow to the ground to every soldier who, without sparing himself, stands in mortal danger for our peace. Let us be resilient and unite for a common goal!
