Double Degree Programs are joint educational programs of Ukrainian and foreign universities that allow Ukrainian students to simultaneously study under integrated curricula in two educational institutions of different countries and simultaneously receive two diplomas from Ukrainian and European universities.
The purpose of implementing double degree programs at the University is to provide opportunities for Polytechnic students not only to gain experience in studying at a foreign university and expand their professional training opportunities but also to raise their level of competitiveness in future employment.
Additional requirements for double degree program agreements. The text of the agreement must contain the following information:
1. The general term of validity of the agreement and date of signing
2. Educational level (bachelor, master, postgraduate).
3. Number and name of the specialty
4. Study schedule for each semester of the program.
5. Table of approval of disciplines and their re-enrollment (50% of the load at NULP and 50% of the load at the partner university according to the requirements of the Ministry of Education and Science).
6. Financial conditions for relocation, training, accommodation, meals, and insurance of students while studying at the partner university.
7. It is important to note that for students who study at the expense of individuals and legal entities, a prerequisite for participation in the double degree program is full payment for tuition at Lviv Polytechnic, regardless of the terms of payment at the partner university. There is no refund for disciplines that are re-enrolled. Students of the budget form of education pay tuition fees at the partner university in case of such a requirement according to the signed agreement.
8. Conditions of distance learning under the program.
9. Mandatory submission (to the CIE) of a copy of the diploma and its supplement from the partner university upon completion of training.
